This is the same guy from Anglers Inn. He also guides a trip to the Amazon. It is a 6 and a half day trip and is is not a cheap trip. You can check it out on the Anglersinn.com website. Someday I will have to try it. The video showing the trip is a good one . Another trip of a lifetime ! Start saving now , Stan.

The state can never do anything right to bad I think if they had the bigger ones there would be a lot more tourist coming to hawaii to fish! Even if they were 10-15 lbs would be something those tucs would have a lot of food to eat they could eat anything in the lake. Turtles, redevils, tilapia, catfish pungee, even the small tucs we got I would trade it all for some 10+ tucs

I guess that you don't remember the public meeting where we ask the DLNR to bring in the Florida Bass? This picture was shown......
"See, if you bring the Florida Bass to Hawaii, they will eat all our endangered birds".
If I'm lie'n, I'm die'n.......

A friend of mine has two (2) 650 gallon fish tanks and has a couple of these Amazon species of the peacock bass. Actually he has several varieties of the peacock bass. Getting them in is not a problem. Footing the bill to get enough Amazon peacocks or Florida strain LMB is the problem!
