What kind of fish do they use in your part of the country? Susan has an interesting history in todays Star Bulletin, Ocean Watch...

Last year in Alaska it was made with halibut. Great.

In SoCal it is generally our local species of halibut or lingcod.

What part of So. Cal.? When I was younger I used to work on the charter boats out of Ventura, I didn't get paid but I got to fish all day for free and I would scrub the decks and help clean the fish at the end of the day. Wasn't that an awesome deal? :D
