Ever catch one like this?

:D
Tommy caught this one on a bush that was just sticking out of the water.
If the water had come up much higher, this guy would have been bass bait.
Come to think of it... he never did say what he caught that big one on today....

Yep, he's one lucky buggah! He was stuck on a limb that is surrounded by water next to the ramp. He should be happy in the tree in the parking lot. Wife scolded me for not bringing him home!

We just caught one crossing one of the main 4 lane roads in Kailua a couple weeks ago while on our way to Sunday morning meeting. If I hadn't seem him he would have been gushed by traffic. Stopped real quick, and my son jumped out and grabbed him. He was a handsome male. we let him go after the meeting. Up in Kula, Maui where we lived they were everywhere, very interesting animals.
We have a bunch of these "Geico" Geckos cruising our neighborhood now too though they don't speak with an Aussie accent.

Apparently, if you switch to Geico insurance, you get a free maitai. (at Jamesons in Haleiwa)
