A little bit of pre-Hawaii trout fishing

Postby Ken » Wed May 02, 2007 6:39 pm

I won't bored you with the overly long story...so I'll just post up some pics. Sorry about the background...I covered it up to protect my spot (when I post these pics on my Ontario fishing boards)

Saturday fishing with my best buddy

A decent 5lb steelhead (andromous rainbow trout)

Image

Small white sucker

Image

A very respectable 7lb steelhead

Image

15" brown trout (it is monster with respect to this small stream)

Today's fishing...

Another monster brown trout! I hope the brown trout population in this creek continues to be healthy like this! :D

Congratulations on your fishing success. Those are some beautiful fish. I caught a 5 inch rainbow trout on Kauai about 20 years ago! My first and only trout. So sad.

Nice fish. Isn't it really hot and uncomfortable wearing all those heavy jackets and stuff?
LOL
Aloha,
