How's this for a hawg ? This beast of a largemouth weighed in at 5 pounds. My personal best largemouth for Lake Wilson. Dark side all the way !l
Fishing was super slow from 3pm till about 5:30. Then things went crazy ! This was my half of a double strike. He made a 3 and a half pound tuc look small.
Hawg !

Thats the nicest LMB I've seen in a while! Did you happen to get a length? He would definitely throw off the curve showing out bass don't grow past 16"!!! Nice belly as well. Congratulations Peg!

It only took me a few years ( and a million tilapias ) to catch one like this. My personal best largemouth before this was only 2 and a half pounds and kind of skinny looking. This thing was a healthy beast ! I couldn't believe my eyes. I am sorry that I did not even think to measure his length. What a crazy day. This place can be awesome !

Congratulations on an awesome catch and for not having a heart attack when that thing surfaced! Best show and tell I've seen in a long time!
