Sat. on the Lake - 7 July.

Postby Stan Wright » Sat Jul 09, 2011 9:03 pm

I saw more boats on the lake today than I normally see in 6 months of fishing on the weekdays.
I had no idea there were so many bass fisherman.
(And everyone was fishing in one of my "secret spots".)

When space is limited, one has to be creative...
Check out this "tackle box". That's using your head.
If the hat blows off, wonder who will get to it first... him, or the fish?

Didn't see any schooling fish... water temperature was 80 degrees. Nice and clear... 3 or 4 feet in places.

Caught some fish just working the shoreline with the little white Senkos...
2" and 3".

Still a few spawners around... if you look hard enough.

:D

Well, the picture posting thing was working great this morning...
don't know why it didn't work last night.

In the picture of the boats, that's Opie's new boat in the background.
Mike is in the flats boat. Normally see him out in K-Bay chasing Oio.
In the Kayak? Help me out here guys.
