I can't believe how much he loves that Buzz Bait... well, now I can.
The strikes he was getting on the buzz bait were larger fish... the 3 to 5 pound size. Largemouth and peacock bass. Getting them into the boat was another story. I mean right up close, almost into the net... and at the last second they would come unbuttoned.
Many other times there would be a a huge splash and the lure would come flying through the air... we'd duck for cover. (remember what I said about "don't set the hook, just keep reeling"?)
It was a wild afternoon. Shane kept me busy tagging and writing.
We only tag the ones over 12 inches...
