Low Water Pictures

Postby Stan Wright » Sat Feb 26, 2011 9:09 pm

Sat. 26 Feb.

When I left the boat ramp at 2:30, there were 19 slats out of the water.
At 5:30 when I got back there were 21 slats showing. The water off the end of the ramp in the middle of the lake is 4 feet deep.

This is just after leaving the boat ramp... still Part of the Fishing Park.
Water depth there was 6 feet.

This is a view of the South Bridge. (I wonder if the guy was in the wheel chair when it was tossed off the bridge?)

These kids were fishing the point by Paper Bark, just past Cow Point.

It's not often you see the 60 Foot Marker on Boy Scout Island.

I'm thinking this is getting to a dangerous level for the fish's health.....

On Friday afternoon the 60 ft marker was at the edge of the water. That was two days later in your pic.

How many slats are there before it's all mud. Ordering some BFG goodrich all-terrains tmw(not because of this...blew a tire out a few weeks ago) but they might extend my ability to launch a little longer...if it gets too bad I might have to break out the old 85 chevy k10 with the 6 inch lift and 35 inch mud terrains...if it comes to this I might be willing to launch people boats.
