Had a fun day fishing with Tommy Mestas. The weather has been beautiful lately. Clear and sunny. (Only thing is the schooling fish tend to stay on the surface a little longer when it's overcast.) LOL That's OK, we still had a great day. We caught an equal number of fish on lures and live bait.

The largemouth bass we got were healthy and fat. That's a nice change from the ones we were catching a few months ago.

Tommy usually fishes stripers and blues back east. This 3+ pound peacock bass is his largest freshwater fish.

Aloha,
Stan

Nice bass Stan! I do not target bass but I do catch them once in awhile. I usually catch some in January, but I only caught one this year. It's good to know they are out there.
