Friday's Twins

Postby Pegasus » Sat Sep 18, 2010 10:31 am

As I headed out from the ramp, my friend called to tell me he had found the spot and had picked up one nice one. I said to put it in your live well till I get there and I would take his picture. By the time I got there, he had both of these fish in his live well. We fished for a couple of hours on this spot and killed it ! Tons of big , agressive tucs. Nothing less than 2lbs up to 5lb . Awesome . Epic day ! And we were the only boats on the lake.

I'll be out there tommorow so hopefully I'll have some of the same success. I fished, as you know, last Sunday with not much success. However, if I hook into something like those, i'm not to sure my little tube can handle a fish that size but it will be fun trying. If you see me getting dragged around the lake tommorow you'll know I got a good one.

Last week got 2 small tucs on jerkbaits.

Good luck to all!

A fish that size will pull a bass boat around. When I used to use my kayak, I had lots of fun, fighting the fish with one hand and trying to paddle away from the shore and the trees with the other. Hawaiian sleigh ride !
