Just wanted to share couple pictures of fishing in the new year. Kyle's bone was 27 inches and mines was 29 inches. Hopefully fishing stays this good the whole year.

I spoke with Dean and he said they were not revealing their secret spots...
Just kidding... From the looks of the back ground I'm sure they were on Hickam flats. The bad news is the base is closed to all nonmilitary. If you hve an ID Card or are Active Duty.... you have access to some great fishing.... Just don't be casting at the Navy ships, as they enter Pearl Harbor, OK? LOL

Stan,
Hickam was my guess too. Do you think you could kayak over there without getting blown out of the water?
Even though I hear a lot of "find a flat and try it out", any other bonefish secret spots/tricks would be much appreciated. I'm actually writing for flyfish.com, and would like to do a feature on big bones off Oahu, as this remains seemingly untapped. I have some first hand experience and have interviewed locals, but any more firsthand info would be terrific.
