Lost Treasures Found

Postby roadwarriorsvt » Fri Aug 20, 2010 10:21 pm

Since the water level has fallen again, I think its be (semi) interesting to see what people find along the banks.

Today I hiked up past the navigatible waters way up the north fork. I found the following lodged in the rock beds:

1) most of a mountain bike

2) a chartruese/white spinner bait with a "secret" modification

3) garden hoses

4) fish trap

5) three small catfish skulls

6) bottom half of a rod w/Daiawa reel

Anyone else fins any treasures?

If anyone finds a red Bandit 100 series crankbait near the point behind the apartment buildings across from Boy Scout Island, please get in touch with me!! It actually got stuck overhead in a tree, but I figure it would have fallen down by now.

Those "Monkey Fish" are the most aggressive... they will run out on the end of a tree branch and grab your lure right out of the air...

If it gets much lower I'll be able to find my rod and reel over by paper bark.
