heard alot of people were having a tuff day, maybe we were catching all the fish. waters really dropping fast, it like a diffrent lake every couple of days.grassbeds are pretty much above waterline everywhere with a few exceptions.tried behind the masonic lodge where they had been strong on tuesday but with no grass in the water it was barren, son lost or tossed his rod in the water our first sacrifice of the day to the fish gods....... it must have worked! we quickly ran down the bank and found that the eager little bass had moved out to the nearest fallen tree near the dry grass beds mixed in with some small tucs for good measure "hurry those will be high and dry in a day or two" any lure thrown would get a 6-8in bass or a possible topwater strike from a small tuc.after that we wore ourselves out on small guys and moved a bit deeper for larger game. found them accomadating as well, caught 4 or 5 LMB about 2lb range on a variety or lures in a variety of locations.finnished off with about an hour of busting action near kunia point.another 10-15 small 8inch bass and a couple of tucs. one guy shore fishing the point was surrounded by tucs crashing shad on every side right at the shore! looked like someone firing an m-60 into the water! lost one pole and a lure retriever and caught 30+ fish with some kickers too boot, i think it was well worth it!

Nice job and a fine catch by the young angler. I had a late start and got on the lake around 5. Saw you guys heading in. I was not as successful, fished around Miki miki and got one decent 18" pb, 1 small LMB and a 2# channel cat. Was hoping for the evening bite, and Saw a bunch of 2-4 pd PBs but they didn't like my goldfish or artificials.
Busy tomorrow so will have to wait till next weekend to give it another go.
See you out there.
PS mahalos to Dougie for his assist with my boat at the ramp.
Btw he still caught the biggest Tuc I have yet to see in person. He caught it about 2 years ago at the ramp. My guess was that it was pushing 7#s.
I'm still dreaming of landing a 5#r!

Same with us on Saturday... small fish every where on the lake... We had enough 2 pound PB mixed in to make it very interesting.
Just kept moving along the shoreline and running to fish... A school of little LMB here... a school of bluegill there. An occasional oscar. Then a school of larger peacock bass. Mostly chase with a few hook ups.
An action packed day.
My thanks also to Dougie for the help at the ramp... Hope I can pay you back with a little fishing.
