It is not a consistent lure and I have only caught one peacock on them but my fair share of largemouth. Works great in the mainland though. I got 35 largemouth in 4 hours on them in Indiana.

The chatterbait is one of the lures that Chris fishes in every HFFA tournament.... along with his little white Senkos and the Sammy.
He hardly ever places below 3rd or 4th place.

Ok, I'm too lazy to Google. Is a chatterbait the same/similar to a buzzbait?

Nah it looks like a jig but has this square thin netal on the front that vibrates it got a good action on it though.thanx for the replies I fished this afternoon and no bites on the chatterbaits as soon as i. Changed to my senkos got action caught 2 bass and missed 3 think they were small ones couldn't swallow my 4 inch senkos. One just got excited seen it hit right under the boat and ripped it out of the mouth lol! Not bad for 2 hours after work.

yeah fishing in Tuc bay and in kunia side of Morgan's in that bay it was really windy on that north stretch so I fished in the calm pockets just trew
my worms by the logs unweighted I'm not the best bass Guy but Tucs been slow and seems like bass are biting. Oh are you talking about those trees by my boat. I caught a bass in there about two weeks ago and I seen someone pass by an caught one with a spinner bait on Saturday.
