Fished behind my dad's house on the south fork for only 2 hours. Only caught 3 tucs up to 2 lbs. and a 4 lb. channel cat on live bait. Saw a couple of 5+ pounders, but they wouldn't bite. Also saw a big school of about 18 red devils. I've never seen them other than alone or in pairs before. Weird.
Still trying for that elusive largemouth. Despite the rain yesterday, the water was pretty clear. Thanks for the message Stan.
Happy Thanksgiving to everyone!

Happy Thanksgiving to you too. Congrats on your catches. Must have been fun hooking up with the 4 lb catfish. They put on a good fight too don't you think? Consider me a rookie since I've only been fishing on the lake about a year, and although I haven't caught as many largemouth bass, size for size, so far, it seems the tucs put on a better fight. The times I've hooked up the lm bass, I could tell almost right away it what kind of fish it was by the way it fought. Wondering if anyone else thinks so too. Aloha.

I missed out that day, Chris had the boat and I had a list of "honey do" things. No you know where that "I'd rather be fishing" sign started.
Happy Thanksgiving everyone.
Aloha,
Stan
