Myth Busters

For 2 1/2 years I kept records of my fishing trips....
Sunny or clear or rain...., wind speed and direction, water & air temp., barometer, moon phase.... lure color and size.... everything you could think of.

The only conclusions I could draw .......
1. If the water temperature was in the low 70s the fishing slowed.
2. If the water level rose rapidly, the fishing slowed down for a few days.

As you know the water level has risen 7 feet in the last 3 days.
So I figured the fishing would be junk, right?

Wrong......
We hooked some nice size peacock bass on lures. Blue Boat Point was wild today.... cast a live bait and reel in a peacock bass. From Boy Scout Island to Bluegill Bay on the North Fork the peacock bass were busting shad on the surface. (Lot's of action on that stretch by the Pineapple Field.)

Rising water level sure didn't make any difference the last few days.
