Rising Water

Postby Stan Wright » Sat Nov 14, 2009 9:31 am

On Friday the water rose about 2 feet. About 5 feet this week.

In the morning the water around the boat ramp was clear. By noon it was muddy.

On the north fork...... the clear/muddy line was at Morgans Pt.
On up the lake by Quanset Hut there were lots of floating logs and junk in the water.

The lake looked kind of nice with the water up and covering all the trash along the shore.

I miss seeing all the red devils. They are probably sitting in their hole 5 feet under the water wondering where the sky went.

Don't worry, I'm sure DOle will be dropping the level back down as soon as they can! :x

As of Mon, 11-16-09, the water was quite clear up on the north fork. The current has slowed so the catfish are enjoying eating around my oasis!

The water continues to rise! 8) The pilings by the north fork bridge are completely submerged now! The lake looks nice and healthy, just as it did before they started draining it. Man I with it would stay like this.
