We finally got Steve out of the saltwater and up to the lake... he was tagging the Red Devils with his new fly rod.
One of the large flys he created to try out on the lake.
It wasn't long till I hooked into one. It's nice having someone else taking pictures.
The peacock bass fishing started out slow, but we managed to land a few from time to time.
Then, later in the day, the peacock bass started chasing shad and the surface turned into a boiling mass of feeding fish,
This is one of several "doubles" we had. Are we haveing fun yet, or what?.
But the next day Steve was right back out on the bonefish flats.
Fun on the Lake
