South Fork action

Postby Pegasus » Thu Oct 01, 2009 9:06 pm

Picked up a nice 5lb tuc on the muddy south fork. Had one come unbuttoned and he threw up his lunch at the same time. Closer inspection showed his lunch consisted of one small 5 bar cichlid. Slow day overall on wed. Nice afternoon to have the lake almost all to myself.

Can't go wrong with live bait! Once when I was down to my last few live baits, I put on this big 4"+ talop and in about 1 minute, a 2 lb. peacock managed to swallow it down!
