Finally got the boat on the water!

Postby tkpeltier » Fri Aug 14, 2009 8:54 pm

I haven't posted anything about it but I've been working for months on an old 70s' 20hp Johnson I bought to replace my old 6hp slow speed Evinrude. It feels like I haven't had the boat out forever. After many trials and errors the new outboard is running awesome and ready to fish. My bro is visiting from the mainland and after the successful test run we made today, we'll be going out early in the morning for some Tuc's and myself for some Red Devils as I have yet to catch any to speak of. (Thanks Stan for the info on catching them)

Glad you got the moto up & running. Did you rebuild it?
Let us know if you had any luck with the Tucs. I may try Sun.
