Boat Ramp Pictures from Dec and June.

Postby Stan Wright » Sun Jun 28, 2009 5:54 pm

Went by the lake today, Sunday afternoon. Looks like those rains did bring the water level up a little. It's a few inches deeper than Last Tues.

Here is a picture of the ramp today. Sunday, June 28.

The ramp extends on out a little more. but it's really muddy, a thick layer of silt. But I think we can still get the trailer in.

This is what the water level is like when the lake is full. This was the muddy water right after the big winter rains. The lake was a big "mud puddle".

Here is that same spot today.... same tree. Just a different kind of mud puddle.

The low water didn't seem to bother these guys... they were having fun.
Anyone know the names?, Sorry I forgot to ask.

Here they are going up the creek with a paddle.

Here are pictures of the vanishing Lake Wilson....
Going..... :o

All I can think of now is to go out in the drive way, sit in the bass boat, and drink beer.

ya the grass is doin great hahaha,i hope the water level comes up enough to cover that saddle between boyscout island and the mainland. its all grassy and a topwater frog would be fun fun fun in the grass!provided we have fish................ anyone else remember salt lake, before it was turned into a salt lake, then a golf course by greedy developers with the citys blessing. think they had bass in that lake before it got so salty??
