Had a fun afternoon on the lake with Greg and Krystine. (Clay spent the morning showing them my "secret spots")
The thick cloud cover made it almost imposable to spot any spawning peacock bass. And the ones we did find were not interested in having their portraits taken. Greg was killing the red devils with Clay's little-white-fox-fur-fly.
The smaller peacock bass would follow, but only a few aggressive ones were hooked and landed. Meanwhile in the back of the boat.... Krystine was catching red devils, bluegill, catfish, 5-bar general..... everything but a peacock.
I didn't get any pictures with my camera, so you'll have to check out Clay's Blog for his fish pictures and "the rest of the story".

Stan, I guess that's the very nice couple that I met at the ramp the other day. I hope they had fun because they sure seemed like good people. Did they have any luck with the oio?
