wilson desert!

Postby ynototony » Mon May 11, 2009 2:14 pm

So i went behind the middle school where I like to go to get away from everything and everyone and it was pretty much dried out. There were dried pools of water with dried out fish and bird kaka everywhere. With the fish trapped in the little pools of water are an easy meal for some of the birds. Just a heads up to anyone who fishes there so you don't waste your fishing time. I ended up finding a place near the freedom lot... the car lot over there.

Yea, we went up the south fork and it was muddy. Very shallow.
I'd try over accross from Schofield. Because the water is so low there are lots of places to fish from shore.

It looks like the lake was UP at least a foot or so this evening! :D The water was pretty murky though. I wonder if the water level gods are preparing for the summer?
