Report From The Lake - Sept. 24, 2006

Postby tucmaster » Sun Sep 24, 2006 7:44 pm

After last week's rains, the water level has risen about 2 feet. The shoreline tuc action remains good. I spent a few hours at the lake this morning released 19 tucs between 1 lb. 6 oz. and 2 lbs. 14 oz. Didn't see any larger tucs today, but saw quite a few packs of 3 to 5 fish cruising the shoreline. The game plan was to land and release several fish out of each pack and then wait for the next pack to come cruising along, attracted by the commotion of fighting/jumping tucs. Also released a 2 lb. 12 oz. channel cat. Saw about a dozen of the tagged bass that were released by the DLNR as reported earlier by Stan. That's it for this week. Good luck and good fishing.
