Tagged Fish

Got a call from John, who caught Tag # 3928, a peacock bass, at Mikimiki Flats on April 14, 2009.... 16 inches.... 2 1/4 pounds.

I tagged that fish on Mar. 24, 2008. at Mikimiki Flats... 13 1/2 inches....

I reported the catch to Annette at Aquatic Resources..... Just got this from her.....

Hi Stan,
This was the same fish that Mike Sakamoto recaptured on 11/27/08. It grew another half an inch since then. This fish is doing quite well at Mikimiki Flats. I guess this is Mike's way of saying "hello" to you.

Here is a picture of that tagged fish in the net. You can see the tag if you look close. I am honored to catch Mike's fish again. I remember seeing you guys out there on his last trip to the lake. Just like old times....
