Thurs. Report
Well, I got skunked on Thurs. Went from about 2:30-5:30. Two strikes on live bait that were in the rear pole holders. I had the drag too tight and something hit the feeder fish and snapped the line. Good thing I had the pole locked in or it would have been gone! Spotted a school of either small Tucs or talopia by Kemoo Island. Cast to them but no takers. Also spotted a school of red devils just north of Morgan's Point near the old floating dock. Cast a fly at them. Again, no takers although one followed the fly right up to the boat. Couple of other fishermen reported the big "0" also. Met a guy in an OD green kayak. He caught 3 tucs, 1 LMB, and 1 bluegill on a small white rubber minnow. At least someone caught something. Oh well, it was still better than working.

It was pretty much the same thing for Chris using live bait... a few red devils and 5 peacock bass I think.
But on FRIDAY...... all I can say is how in the workd can you not catch one day and catch so many the next? You should have been there "yesterday".

"Why let the truth stand in the way of a good fish story?"
