boyscout island??

Postby adpetree » Sun Feb 01, 2009 9:41 am

so, I'm getting all of my fishing gear finally on Tuesday, to include all of my tackle, rods, and float tube. I hear you guys talking about putting your kayaks and float tubes in across from boyscout island, where is that?? I know where the freshwater park is, but thats it. thanks in advance.
Thanks,

Adam

Scroll down this page to the map of Lake Wilson. Open it up and look for the letter "J" and you've got it!

The peacock bass were schooling from Boy Scout Island, all the way north to Kemoo Island and the dam. If you parked accross from Schofield Bks..... near where Kunia Road comes in... you'll be right where the action starts.
Park along that rock wall. Water level is way down so launching won't be a problem.... You'll be right there at Boy Scout Island.

I have done lots of Kayak fishing off of boyscout island. I have caught most of my fish around the island. easy launch from Kunia road.
