Hay, Carolina Bassin.... just got the information back from Annette on that big 7.5 pound peacock bass you caught... (see "5 FISH, 1 BIG BOY" for picture)
The peacock bass was tagged by Mike Leong on 3 NOV 2007 at Blue Boat Point. The length was 19 inches. It was free and swimming around for 428 days till you caught it on 4 JAN 09 at Mikimiki Flats... looks like it grew 5 inches and traveled .5 miles.
Nice catch.....

If you catch a tagged fish, please get the following information:
1. Type fish. (peacock or largemouth bass)
2. Length of fish
3. Date of catch
4. Location of catch
5. Weight, if possable
OH YEA, I forgot..... The TAG NUMBER.........
If you can get the information to me (808-944-8514) I'll pass it along to Annette at Aquatic Resources. If you also give me your name and phone number I'll let you know who tagged it, length & weight when tagged, when and where.
We're working on a form to pass out to fshermen so they can record the information and contact Aq R directly.
We would also like to see some kind of Certificat of Apprician or something for reporting a tagged fish. A little Thank You gift.
Aloha,
Stan
