Postby cameroncarr0311 » Thu Aug 07, 2008 9:13 am

Do we have the any spotted Largemouth in Lake wilson, and if no have they ever thought of putting them in? Have they ever tried to put Crappie in the lake cause that is a fun pan fish to catch.

Crappie was an old topic a long time ago. I don't they'd survive the beating the tucs and ciclids would give them.

I think spots would end up like the small mouth, few and far between. I would have higher hopes for crappies, not sure how they'd do at Wilson but places on the mainland I've fished both LGMB and crappies have thrived together. Though personally, I think one of the problems of the lake is there is too many different species.
