I have been on this Island for about a year now and I just got time to start fishing. I love to bass fish and I just wanted to know where the best place was to get freshwater tackle on Oahu. I would appreciate any help and thanx

The best place is your mailbox or front door. We got nothing over here. Sports Authority and Wal-Mart have some stuff like Rapala minnows and Yozuri hard baits. There are no baitcasting reels anywhere here.
If you like Shimano rods, you can special order a bass rod like a Crucial or Compre from Charley's for no additional charge. Sometimes they even have 15% off specials.
I strongly recommend Cabela's over Bass Pro. BPS shipping is super slow.
