First time fishing Lake Wilson since moving back from Maui, and first time fishing from a boat here in over 14 years. The mandatory C&R of all Bass has really improved the fishery. I took my little 11' canoe "Lil' Vandi" and brought along my visiting bro-in-law Mike. We trolled from the ramp towards the dam using "RattleTrap" lures, I lost my lure to a huge hit. We were using live medaka caught in my backyard, and ultralight tackle so very sporting on even the smaller Tucanares. We fished by Boy Scout Island, I lost count on how many Tucs we caught. Mike even hooked a nice "Red Devil" and I lost a HUGE Largemouth Bass at boat side. We fished from 12 noon till 6 pm, it was a great day!

Now that's what I call a fun day on the water.
Aloha,
Stan
