Schooling Peacock Bass

With the cloud cover, the fish were schooling and chasing shad past Boy Scout Island and down by the dam. Nice action.

Also saw more spawning peacock bass along the shore. It was a good day, lots of action, really fun.

There are some huge fish out there, but they were not interested in our lures. They would just swim away when you cast near them. Big fish.

I've had a call or two about late afternoon action with schooling peacock bass this last week. Looks like I'm leaving just about the time I should start fishing.
