This is what the lake looks like today....
Anyone want to venture a guess as to how long it will be before the water clears up and the fish start biting again?

I caught 2 small bass and one red devil. It was a very long day.

muddy water

I like fishing muddy water. I notice dark colors work well, like brown. You get a lot of reflex bites. I thought the fish would be biting already because I assumed the water level was maxed out. Maybe it is to cold.

I think it will clear up fast, because they are letting the water out of the lake. The water is not red in color too. I think the north fork will clear first.

Still muddy on Monday... one small bass all day.

I am going to guess at least another week before you can see big changes in color. Hopefully the nice weather holds for a bit!
