Clay called to report the water is up another 3 feet (and it's still raining.) That has to be about 6 or 7 feet in the last week. Those muddy points are covered with water and they nosed the boat up into grass. Live baiting started a little slow... only 10 or so fish in the first 1/2 hour, but then the action really picked up and they used up all their live bait is a few hours. "Lots of fish."
Clay told me they fished lures and flys all morning.... nothing. Not one fish. That didn't surprise me. When there is a rapid rise in the water level it takes a few days for the fish to get back into their regular feeding patterns. I was very happy to hear the live bait action was still strong. So if your going tomorrow.... take live bait and fish Blue Boat Pt..
