"Tale of the broken hook".

Hi Stan,
Thanks for the hooks and split shot leads. It is always fun fishing with you.
My son Brennan was working the fly on the bank for a good fifteen minutes after you guys left, getting hit from about a 3-4 pounder. After constant hits but no hook up he finally gave up. When he looked at the fly the hook was broke off. We had a good laugh. I was laughing more cause it happened to me a few weeks ago. See you at the lake !!

Thanks again, Mike

Mike, tell Brennan I have a nice selection of flys for him... with hooks.
Aloha,
Stan

Greetings Mike,

I like the new heading,"Tale of the broken hook". That's one way to out fish the kid

Something about that blue boat, oh yah, there's "blue boat point", the other hot spot.

Kid fishing with dad, priceless...... :D

Subject line changed. Yea, I like that one much better too.

While he was fishing yesterday, Mike broke 2 hooks and bent a few out straight.... But then he is using 50# braid with the drag locked down.
