Saturday at the lake

Very tough fishing today... saw lots of nice fish... saw lots of little fish... lots of fish chased our lures... schooling fish in the Main Basin, and all around Kemoo Island. So many chases and strikes whenever we got the lure into the splashing white water of the feeding schools of peacock bass. The problem was landing the fish.

Over all it was a beautiful glassy calm day with nice cool overcast and occasional sprinkles of rain... peacock bass were schooling like crazy and we were getting our lures into the action... but the fish were just not hooking up on the strikes.

Still, it was a great day on the lake.
