10 Nov 13 Flash Flood Warnings

Postby Soldierboy » Sun Nov 10, 2013 12:59 am

Me and the wife decided to try the lake in the morning but stayed longer than intended. There was a Flash Flood Warning and come to find out it was true.

You have to love fishing to be out on the lake. Like my dad always told me, you cannot catch a fish unless your line is wet.

Rained so hard, had to turn on the bilge pump 5 times to drain the boat.

One of many small little water falls that drains in the lake.

Looks like the water level rose about 5 feet yesterday and this morning…
Don't know exactly how much the level rose before it started showing on the gauge.
Check it out.
