I'm Joel, a 19 year old student from Switzerland.
Since January 2013 I'm here in the US to improve my english, first in San Diego and this weekend I changed for my last 6 weeks to Honolulu.

I don't wanna spam but when I asked in SD first about Bassfishing the people thought I had no idea about fishing...
I would like to fish Lake Wilson for some Peacocks and other Bass, other freshwaters if possible and some do some shore fishing in the sea.
Today I asked already in my school and also a tourist informant but nobody could give my infos about the fishing here.
- Do I need a license? / where can I get it?
- Where can I buy a Casting rod and eventually a not too pricy Spinning Pole to fish some hardbaits in the sea?
Sorry for these maybe simple questions but I didn't find any infos...
I'm in special interested in Lake Wilson and would love to go there as soon as possible. The school told me today I can't rent a car under 21 here in Hawaii so I have to find another transport option. Is there a bus station close to the lake maybe?
