Want to buy a small boat - Need Help

Looking to buy a small boat for the lake. Nothing Fancy.

I saw these two on Craigslist.

One is a flat bottom the other is tri-hull... What is the main difference and why.

I just want something to float down river to catch catfish.

Suggestions or inputs?

The 25 hp motor would get you to the fishing spots lot faster than the 4 hp, but it cost more. I've got a 13' Gamefisher similar and stability can be an issue. Not sure on the tri hull.

Aluminum Jonboat just about perfect for the lake, 4.5hp more than adequate since speed limit in lake is 5 knots (but who obeys?)
