new lake monster?

so we were fishing miki miki flats saturday mid morning. and this fish maybe 3ft long. easily in the 20lb plus class range swims by multiple times. looked like a giant black salmon. i know its not a salmon! there is one in that kids aquarium at the zoo. anyone know what it is? damn that thing was huge, my son pelted it with a variety of lures and doughballs but to no avail.

It's a nice size Pacu. Usually hangs out near Condo point.

dont think its a pacu, have seen them in the lake and they are more silver and rounder shaped. like a papio.this was shaped very much like a salmon with the same kind of head and was vary dark, nearly black. pushing 20 plus lbs about 3 foot long. longer and more of streamlined than any pacu i have seen. i know there is one in the aquarium in the kids section of the zoo, exact same fish but i dont know what it is. definatley not a catfish.
