Chris had a great trip to Christmas Island... can you believe he caught that 90 pound GT? They were using spinning rods, 50# and 80$ braid line and those big popping plugs. The smaller fish were caught walking the flats using smaller test spinning and fly rods. They are going again next summer if your interested.

Stan,

Always wanted to do a Christmas Island trip. I would be interested in going if Chris goes again next year. It would be great to do the trip with fellow fishermen from the hawaii bass fishing fraternity. Is he open to having another fisherman joining his group when he goes?

I am trying to convince my wife that you should go to Christmas Island as often as you go to dentist. Twice a year ! Way more fun ! Chris's pictures are great. If you like what you see, save up and go. Memories to last a lifetime ! An amazing place with lots of different types of fishing. The plane leaves every Tues at lunch time and you are there by 3pm and fishing before 5pm if you want to. So close.... and yet so far away. I miss it more after looking at his pics.
