I fished from 9 to noon. A little schooling action when the clouds hid the sun. A little more action along the shoreline. Small peacock bass and largemouth.
Broke the tip off my ultralight rod, so I switched to an 8# test spinner. Not as much fun.

Located Chris and retrieved my Tenkara Rods... immediately started catching red devils. And this guy.

Got into some really small peacock bass (6 inch kind) , more peacock bass... then several bluegill. (even a catfish)

Lots of action on the ultra-ultra light Tenkara rod and the little gold fly.

That is one flat slab Bluegill! WOW.
Have the Red Devils had a negative effect on the Bluegill population in your opinion Stan?

I don't know... I was fishing along the shore and catching RD, and suddenly I start catching Blue Gills. Go figure. I have seen more BG in the areas next to the grass where it drops off into deep water. The Red Devils seem to like the shorelines where there is no grass.
