Heavy Rain Brings Debris

Postby roadwarriorsvt » Sun Mar 11, 2012 7:29 pm

Just a little public service announcement for all you boaters. I'd say steer clear of the north fork for a while. All the storming, heavy rain washed in a ton of debris into the water. It started collecting in a specific area prior to the rapids. I've cleared it out twice now. There is alot of stuff floating downstream including a couple of trees, one almost in its full size! It'll probably get jammed up somewhere downstream. My prop took a beating last time I was out, mainly on stuff floating just below the water's surface. Be careful out there!
