Beer Can Chicken

Postby Stan Wright » Thu Jun 18, 2009 9:52 pm

Stan's Way:

1. Open beer ( or any beverage of your choice ) take a big swig.......

2. Put beer in Cabela's beer can cooker.

3. Wash and dry chicken. Rub with your favorite spice rub. Tony’s Cajin Spice works well.

4. Place chicken body cavity over beer. (stick the beer in the rear..... of the chicken.

5. Place in a pan (to catch drippings)

6. Cook in the oven at 350 degrees for 1 1/2 to 2 hours.

7. Enjoy

You can do it on a grill too, as long as the lid closes.
