My fishing report is this: Look at my screen name.
I haven't been out there in a long time. I was amazed at how low the water was. It was very clear though. I didn't see any fish except some red devils. I tried a crankbait, a topwater, and a roadrunner lure. Nothing. I even lost my favorite crankbait which I got at an Academy store in Texas. They don't do mail order and it's their house brand (H20), so I have to wait until next year to replace it. I even tried for catfish for awhile and had no bites. I also got 2 bad backlashes with my fluorocarbon line ($$), so it was an all-around bad day. At least the weather was nice. This was by boy scout island.
I hope everyone else had better luck than I did.

I wish I had taken a picture of the area so I could show you. I would gladly let you have it. Better than having it rust away. It is probably no more than a foot below the surface on a tree limb about 15 feet from shore. At least it wasn't one of those expensive Lucky Crafts or an even more expensive swimbait.
On a side note, do not use Vicious Fluorocarbon. It has terrible memory. Seaguar Invis-X is a lot better. BPS fluoro is not bad, but not great.
