cover recovery

Postby BASSTRACKER » Wed May 06, 2009 9:56 pm

south forks pretty low,but its a great time to get some cover up there, was always one of my fav spots to fish.turn the corner and your in a diff world, no houses or traffic. salvinia invasion happened and they cut most of the fallen trees and shoreline grass away. main basin and north fork recovered and north forks grass beds were returning.......slightly a moot point now they are out of the water, damn them grass beds were a great summer pattern too.but south fork never came back like elswhere, seems to me its a good time to maybe help it along a bit.......... all them trees they been cutting down along the offramp wonder how to get at em from the water

Are you looking tomove some of the cut trees near or into the water? I'm pretty sure they haul the trees away right after they cut them down. But this is a good idea to install some cover. Maybe mark the area where its at also.
