The water level is way down and the weather is hot.
Way up the North Fork they are building a pipe line or something and the lake is blocked off just after the old Whitmore Village outfall. There is a dragline working and that explains the muddy water down stream almost to the bridge. Got one 3 1/4 pound peacock on a spinner bait and had more chases and follows in the muddy water.
In the main lake I saw schooling fish busting the surface from Boy Scout Island to Morgans Pt. Not much and not very often, but every time I was able to get a lure in the feeding fish I hooked up. One to 2 pound size peacock and largemouth.
Got a nice sun burn.
Aloha,
Stan

tuc spawn
I have not seen as many nesting pairs as I have seen in past years. I have also noticed more single small fish guarding fry than pairs guarding fry. I think the tucs had a bad spawn this year. Hope I am wrong. I have seen more oscars with fry this year than usual.
