The red devils were even going for diving lures.
Red devils are a lot of fun on a fly rod too.
Peacock bass also like a small fly. Red devil missed it because the peacock bass was faster.
This nice 3 1/2 pounder was fooled by a little lead head jig with a green/glitter twister tail. JP had the magic touch on Friday.
My 4 pounder took a two inch gold fish. I thing we ended up catching more fish on lures than we caught on live bait.
Check the markings on this little guy. You don't see one with spots like this very often. John's first peacock bass on a fly rod.
