Thank You DLNR

Postby Stan Wright » Thu Nov 22, 2007 9:41 am

Many thanks to the Department of Land & Natural Resources for taking care of the tree root problem that turned the boat launch ramp into a wash board of speed bumps.

The roots of the "trash trees" (the same kind taken out along the H-2.... so named for the many leaves and broken branches that needed cleaning up every morning)
were breaking up the surface of the parking lot at the lake.

On Wed. the ramp was dug up, the roots taken out, and a new surface put down..... all within 4 hours.

Thanks again to the DLNR for taking care of the problem.

It is much better! I wish they would have re-surfaced the whole thing or better yet made it a double or triple wide ramp!
