Went out today with a buddy, started fishing around 730am, at about 10am we had caught about 10 fish(small schools busting around boy scout island). We both had to be back early so we started making our way to the launch ramp, but we didn't get very far. We made a few casts to this half submerged half exposed tree and caught 3 right of the bat. All the sudden it started pouring on us and we were catching fish left and right for about 45-50 minutes on the fly rods, all from the same tree. I would imagine we probably ended up with close to forty fish or so. Lost a nice fish, 5-6 pounder it jumped and got off. Then it died down and we headed back in. All in all a good day.
